Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, entered Ardabil this morning to open four technological centers and accelerate the pace of innovation and technology ecosystem in the province.

Sattari attended the opening ceremony of an innovation and technology service complex in Ardabil province. The center has an area of 6000 m2 and will accelerate the development of the innovation and technology ecosystem.

In the last few years, Iran has had significant improvements in the field of knowledge-based production, especially nanotechnology field.

This morning, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi, the minister of communication and information technology, signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a digital economics park to boom the knowledge-based ecosystem in Pardis Technology Park. In addition, a joint work space was opened during the ceremony.

A joint meeting was held between Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and Mohsen Haji Mirzaei, the minister of education, with the managers of educational startups to evaluate the existing capacities of the country in the field of virtual education.

The researchers and technologists of the country will be supported to implement corona-related research projects in various scientific fields so that especial facilities could be provided to accelerate the pace of technological activities.

A memorandum of understanding was signed between Iran Technical & Vocational Training Organization and various components of the innovation ecosystem, including accelerators, growth centers, and science and technology parks, and the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs to deepen collaborations and synergy among technical & vocational center across the country.

Cognitive sciences and technologies is a new and growing field in the world. International interactions and cooperation significantly impact the development of this type of technology. Therefore, four joint projects are being implemented between Iran and China with the support of the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter.

The Vice-Presidency has provided various facilities for knowledge-based and creative companies damaged by corona. According to the calls made in this area, companies can receive up to 500 million Tomans.

In parallel with the law to support knowledge-based companies, the program of creative companies has attempted to persuade technologists in the field of soft industries and humanities to follow their ideas in a structured and innovative form. The first festival of appreciation and selection of creative companies will be held accordingly.
