The minister of information and communications technology stated: by purchasing each high-quality Iranian product, the buyer takes another step toward the economic thriving of the country. Being on this path is interpreted as trusting the creative and capable domestic human resource.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs cited by the news headquarter of “Made in Iran” festival, Mohammad Javad Jahromi, the minister of information and communications technology, regarded quality as the necessity of support Iranian products by consumers, expressing: various factors are involved in welcoming of domestic products by costumers, including quality, cost and safety. Considering this issue in manufacturing products can significantly contribute to the support of products by costumers.

He continued: this ministry has performed some acts to support Iranian products, including the policy package to support Iranian goods, which is an example of practical action in this area. Therefore, the ministry will support creative groups that produce high-quality products in the area of information and communications technology.

He pointed out the growth of newly developed businesses in the area of software, affirming: these businesses are supported by various units, which itself exemplifies the support of Iranian products produced by innovative manufacturers. As such, we can rely on our belongings, which is this creative human resource, to make enhancement in the products of Iranian companies.

According to Azari Jahromi, content production for the cyberspace with the topic of support of domestic productions is a proper approach for culture building of this topic. Therefore, holding festivals such as “Made in Iran” can pave the way in this regard. In fact, this event is an appropriate act in line with culture building and advertising Iranian products, which is topic that can preoccupy the mind of the audience if mentioned constantly.

The second national and cultural festival of “Made in Iran” will be held with the goals of mainstreaming and producing contents for the cyberspace related to the cycle of commercialization, entrepreneurship and knowledge-based economy, support of Iranian-made knowledge-based products and services, organization of excessive imports and valuating the high-quality Iranian products, and helping the branding of top Iranian products. This festival will have the sections of literature, visual arts, audiovisual media, digital media and idea market and the student section. The event will be held in January with the support of the knowledge-based economy and technology development headquarter. It is notable that the general secretary of the event is Parviz Karami and it will be held November 6th 2018.
