The Iran national space administration has aimed to improve the patent registration process for domestic aerial products.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the Iran national space administration has taken various measures to achieve scientific authority and create the research and technology infrastructures in key areas, including the improvement of aviation patent registration.

Some of the measures taken by the Iran national space administration for judgement of the patents sent to the intellectual property office in the area of aerial sciences include “assessment of aerial inventions”, “introducing the administration as the competent authority of the country"s air industry, support of commercialization of top patents, and support of patent registration of these inventions. In this regard, the national space administration has aimed to accelerate the pace of assessing and registering aerial patents sent to the administration.
