In the opening ceremony of the 26th Elecomp International Exhibition, Ruhollah Dehghani, Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, referring to the formation of 6 technology hubs in the field of disruptive and transformative technologies, said: due to the ever-increasing progress of information and communication technologies and digital economy, it is necessary to step into the field of technological innovation. Based on this, the Vice-Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy supports the establishment of hubs or national centers in various fields of technology, such as microelectronics, digital economy, and information and communication technology, with a focus on the private sector.

Dehghani continued: In order not to be subjugated by technology and to ride the train of progress in the rapid movement of developments, we must be able to go beyond the mere consumer of technology and engage in the production and development of technology in deeper layers.

Emphasizing that the mastery of technology and continuous movement in the path of progress requires moving from the flow of consumption to the field of technology development, he continued: In this field, we must pay serious attention to several important technologies such as microelectronics, information technology, communication and sensors because they are an integral part of the digital economy. Also, most importantly, artificial intelligence technology, which will definitely be one of the transformative fields of human future, should be taken into consideration.

The head of the National Elites Foundation, stating that attention should be paid to emerging and transformative technologies, beyond the use and consumption of technologies, stated: If we do not pay attention to the development and movement in the direction of mastery and production of technologies, we will definitely remain as consumers of these technologies. Technologies, in the future we will be left behind from the global flow of technology development and we will be defeated by technologies.

Dehghani emphasized: We must not forget that technology takes something away from humanity instead of what it provides. For example, the development of the industry and machine-building technology made things easier, but deprived the human of physical ability. Social networks also granted the possibility of remote communication and access to information, but in return, they took away social communication from humans. The same is true of artificial intelligence. In the not-so-distant years, maybe less than 10 years, many questions and designs will be answered by artificial intelligence, and if we don't get on the path of mastering and developing this technology and don't meditate on the underlying layers of technology, we will definitely lose the ability to think. It will take from our children, so we must move in the direction of the depth of disruptive and propulsive technologies.

The vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy, referring to the manifestation of the technological achievements of the country's knowledge-based and technological companies at the Elecomp exhibition, said: "Perhaps if we had visited the Elecomp exhibition in the past decades, we would have only seen the presence of companies supplying computers and administrative services." But today, capable companies that have a lot to say in the field of digital technologies, smart services and information technology in the international arena, are present in this event and are capable, which shows the technological capability of the technology ecosystem and innovation in fields such as digital economy, information technology and communication and artificial intelligence.
