“My Brain Pardis” is a complex that will be inaugurated in the Book Garden by Eshaq Jahangiri, the first vice president, and Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, on February 27^th 2019.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, February 23^rd 2019 marked the beginning of the “Brain Awareness Week”. This even is held by the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter during February 23^rd-March 2^nd, 2019 to increase the awareness of the general knowledge about the structure and functioning of the brain through the establishment of various programs. Lectures and seminars in the school and university student fields are among the programs of this week.

However, there is a special program for this week as well, which involves the inauguration of the first “My Brain Pardis” in Book Garden in the presence of Eshaq Jahangiri, the first vice president, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, Kamal Kharazi, advisor to the vice president for science and technology affairs, and a number of activists and authorities in the field of cognitive sciences.

This Pardis will be opened on February 27^th 2019. Since the discovery of enchanting truths about the brain is endless, we have a long way to go in this area despite many discoveries in this regard. The construction of such a place could be a solution to discovering the truth of the brain. Because solving the puzzles requires more knowledge and awareness of this vital body organ.

Inauguration of the first “My Brain” Pardis in Tehran will lay the proper foundation for increased knowledge and awareness of various strata of people, including school and university students, about the structure, performance and abilities of the brain.

This complex encompasses five sections of brain structure, different brains, brain cells, future brains and cognitive sciences. All practical information about the brain are transformed to people due to the presence of a brain model. In addition, My Brain Pardis is equipped with the most advanced devices constructed by Iranian researchers.

In addition, 19 equipment, including nerve sensing, MRI simulator, cognitive games, clear brain, visual system, history of brain recognition and other fields of cognitive sciences and knowledge have been established in the center to increase the knowledge of various strata of people, especially children, adolescents, and the youth, about brain and mind. This area is designed in a way that all information about brain will be provided to visitors.

“My Brain Pardis” will be inaugurated with the support of the Vice-Presidency and by the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter.

On the other hand, a part of “My Captain” movie, produced and narrated by Bahram Radan, and directed by Siavash Safarianpour, will be screened along with holding the special ceremony in Book Garden of Tehran.

This work has been produced to increase the knowledge and general awareness of people about brain structure and performance with the aim of improving brain health at the community level.
