The first exhibition of “Traditional Medicine, Alternative Medicine and Herbal Medicines” (TRAMEDEX) known as the first event of sustainable health will be held with the support of the traditional medicine and medicinal plants development headquarter.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the first specialized international exhibition of traditional medicine, alternative medicine and herbal medicines is a health-oriented event in line with the realization of sustainable medicine’s goals to form an interactive space for all healthcare providers.

The perspective of this event is development of the role natural products and knowledge-based products in economy of resistance, creation of the foundation for creativity and potential abilities of activists in the field of traditional medicine, presenting research and technology achievements to futurists of Iran, and production and introduction of natural medicines for certain diseases.

In the first specialized international exhibition of traditional medicine, alternative medicine and herbal medicines, some of the main topics are exchange of thoughts between different science, production, execution and commercial areas, creation of incentives and motivation of domestic and international investors and businessmen to enter the area and lack of use of technology and new industries in use of medicinal plants.

Other issues evaluated in this event include the importance of culture building and restoring of lifestyle and motivation of use of healthy products, lack of proper position of medicinal plants and herbal medicine and Islamic alternative and traditional medicines in the health system of the country and the global society and presence of profiteers in the area of harvest, production, processing and trade of traditional medicine.

The first specialized international exhibition of traditional medicine, alternative medicine and medicinal plans will be held February 21^st-23^rd, 2017 in the world trade center, the international exhibition of Shahr Aftab in Tehran with the support of the traditional medicine and medicinal plants development headquarter.
