The export market of nano products flourished with the efforts of 38 companies; 41 countries requesting Iranian products
38 knowledge-based and creative companies in the field of nanotechnology were able to bring their products to global markets despite the existing sanctions and economic problems.
41 countries are requesting nano products from Iranian knowledge-based and creative companies. In terms of export value, the largest amount of Iranian nano-exports go to Iraq, Turkey and Afghanistan, with a value of about $ 5 million per country, respectively. Uzbekistan, Georgia and Azerbaijan are next in line.
The expansion of export programs of the Nano Headquarters of the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology, especially in recent years, has led to the entry of goods, equipment, and services in the field of nanotechnology in Iran to global markets. But in recent years, due to problems caused by currency fluctuations as well as export barriers related to sanctions, Iran's exports of nano-products to other countries have decreased and account for about 6% of the total Iranian nano-technology market. Of course, this figure is related to the official export of goods.
41 countries buy Iranian-made nano-products, and among various industrial sectors, the largest share of Iranian nano-products exports (about 48%) is related to the manufacturing sector, which has a figure of about 10.6 million dollars. In the next ranks are optoelectronics with 23%, medicine and health and polymer and composite with 7%, and textile with 5.6%.
