The competition of marine idea market with the topic of Makran beach was held in Qom on December 9^th 2017 by the efforts of marine knowledge-based industries and technology development headquarter.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the competition of marine idea market with the topic of Makran beach was held this morning in Qom by the efforts of marine knowledge-based industries and technology development headquarter and in cooperation with the navy of Islamic Republic of Iran army.

The implementation process of the competitions in the festival of marine idea market competition included 2-minute presentation of the accepted ideas (40 ideas), which was performed November 30^th 2017. In addition, the final presentation of ideas (five minutes per idea) will be carried out this evening. At the end, three best ideas will be selected by the referees.  

Attraction and diversity in the sea can be a proper area for all age groups (from children to adults) to start making ideas and expanding the marine culture. Unfortunately, there is insufficient activities performed in the area of presentation of ideas in the marine field and turning them into products.

In total, 150 ideas were delivered by emails. After the preliminary evaluation of the obtained ideas in the secretariat of the competition, 122 ideas were accepted and analyzed according to the format of the competition. Eventually, 40 ideas were selected and introduced to participate in the event.

The closing ceremony of the competition and rewarding the top individuals will be held December 10^th 2017, and the top individuals of the idea competition will receive awards.

The top ideas with the capacity to be commercialized will receive the support and facilities provided by the marine knowledge-based industries and technologies development headquarter.
