“Commercialization of nanotechnology” is the title of a program held by the nanotechnology development headquarter, in which the projects that can be commercialized will be supported.

In this program, projects are accepted after several calls in a year. The third call for receiving projects on the 8^th round of Nano Match Project has been started and enthusiasts of the field can register their project from February 4^th to March 5^th, 2020.

Supporting the activists in the field of nanotechnology to commercialize their achievements is the main goal of the program. The eighth round of the event was started in October and two calls were made in this regard. Today, the third and last call for the Persian year of 1398 was made to pave the way for commercialization of ideas in the field with a faster pace.

The projects will be assessed from four aspects. The technical criterion that evaluates issues such as the research path and related tests and provides needs assessment results. The criterion of novelty that evaluates the innovation of projects inside the country and at the international level and comparing the innovative aspect of the project with the latest ideas shown in the industry field. Another criterion is being a nano product. These designs are also evaluated from a commercial point of view to evaluate the feasibility of product development and optimization for industrial applications, the feasibility of industrial production, and the evaluation of internal and external competitors. Therefore, all teams that have optimized the prototype can take the opportunity to commercialize their product and pave the way for the development of their innovative design. If the plans are accepted, program support will be available to technologists to develop their prototype and be ready to enter industry and market.
