Mohammad Hossein Moghimi, governor of Tehran, emphasized the efforts made by the municipality for realization of a “smart city” during the visit of the 7^th international innovation and technology exhibition (INOTEX 2018).

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the governor of Tehran visited the booth of startups and knowledge-based companies on the last day of the exhibition and talked with young founders of these companies.

Moghimi pointed out the importance of this section of economy, asserting: the provincial government holds itself accountable for facilitating the activity of startups, which facilitates the complicated life affairs by innovation. These young individuals have been able to create jobs in the current condition, transforming the society to a great extent.

He talked about the slogan of the exhibition (smart city, smart life) and pointed out the abilities of the municipality of Tehran to turn this city into a smart city. In this regard, he marked: in the provincial government, we have aimed to place all executive organizations together to realize a smart city and perform our duties the best way possible.

The seventh international innovation and technology exhibition (INOTEX 2018) is the largest specialized exhibition in the area of technology and innovation during July 5^th-7^th, 2018 at the location of specialized exhibition of the municipality of Tehran.
