The Vice-Presidency provides different support packages to creative and technological students and professors. As its latest measure, the lasers, photonics, advanced materials and constructions has announced a call to pay 50 million tomans of gratuitous loans.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, since university must be naturally the focal point of emergence of ideas that can be implemented, the Vice-Presidency has aimed to empower the industry-university interactions by motivating creative projects with correct scientific foundations.

Therefore, the lasers and photonics headquarter will held the competition for providing a specialized technological grant to applicable PhD dissertations in the field of materials, construction and photonics engineering in line with maximum use of domestic scientific capacities and motivating and directing PhD dissertations in related fields.

Different fields of the event include refractory, iron & steel products, ceramic tile industries, casting materials, carbon products, rubber, special purpose polymer production, polymer paint & printing industries manufacturing, molding & metallurgy.

After the evaluation of the applied dissertations, grants will be provided for up to 500 million rials.
