In line with general policies of the country for development of knowledge-based economy and economy of resistance and according to the statements by the Supreme Leader of Iran in the year of economy of resistance, production and employment, a cooperation agreement was signed by the soft and identity-making science development headquarter and Astan Quds Razavi in the area of cultural industries with an emphasis on the issue of souvenirs.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, a joint cooperation agreement was concluded between Astan Quds Razavi and the soft and identity-making science development headquarter, representatives of which were Mohammad Mahdi Tehranchi, scientific deputy of Astan Quds Razavi, and Seyed Mohammad Hossein Sajadi Nayeri, secretary of the soft and identity-making science development headquarter, respectively. Duration of this agreement is four years and can be extended by the agreement of the two parties.

The major goal of this cooperation is creation of innovative centers for cultural industries and souvenirs with the mission of providing services for new companies, researchers, professors, experts, students and graduates, idea owners, producers and industrialists of related areas. In addition, there is a specific emphasis on the topic of souvenirs through providing infrastructural facilities, such as physical space for establishment, financial support, counseling, management, marketing and facilitating services, educational courses and similar events for creation, development and establishment of knowledge-based companies and institutes in the area of cultural industries and souvenirs.

In addition, signing of this agreement means the support of formation of facilitators and aggregators of cultural industries and souvenirs in Astan, aiming to make a bond between knowledge-based and creative companies and domestic and international markets.

According to this agreement, Astan Quds Razavi will be committed to provide a physical space and infrastructural facilities and an appropriate environment for activities of creative and innovative companies at the innovation center and other professional necessities, including monitoring services, education and counseling for professors, students and graduates, research centers and new companies with regard to the goals of the innovation center.

Moreover, professional support and creating the foundations for commercialization and use of technical knowledge in research centers by new companies through proper models (productive company, technology transfer and sales rate) will be other responsibilities of Astan Quds Razavi, which will be carried out by maintaining the material and moral rights of Astan.

Other duties of Astan will be prioritization and use of the capacities created in companies located at innovation center for support of missions and specialized services.

On the other hand, professional cooperation with Astan for designing the appropriate structures, processes, and planning of an innovation center, support of holding proper entrepreneurial events related to the topic of this agreement will be some of the responsibilities of the soft and identity-making science development headquarter.

In this regard, the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs will only financially support the companies that are located at the innovation center and within the framework of supporting knowledge-based or creative companies.

Introduction of investors and innovative companies that are eager to be active in the area of cultural industries is another mission of Astan Quds Razavi for localization in an innovation center.
