With the Call of the Lasers, Photonics, Advanced Materials and Construction Technologies Development Headquarter:

Selected conductive composite projects are supported

Selected conductive composite projects are supported

The Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs has aimed to lay the foundation for domestication and development of emerging technologies. Conductive inks are one of the most popular and new technologies. The lasers, photonics, advanced materials and construction technologies development headquarter has announced that it will support the approved projects related to conductive inks.

With the advancement of science and the emergence of new features and industries, smart materials with diverse capabilities are entering the field of technology and industry every day. An example of these materials are conductive inks that have revolutionized various industries including circuits and robotics. Conductive inks create new branches of science, including wireless sensors based on radio wave recognition technology, in some cases. Unless the development of conductive ink technologies is developed in the country, many products in need of this material may not be available in the future.

Uses

Conductive inks can be used to produce security cards that can be detected by magnetic waves.

This product can also be used directly for printing boards and electrical circuits instead of making them. Electronic components that require a thin conductive membrane, such as new-generation keyboards, can also use conductive inks. In addition, conductive inks are used in a variety of industries, including batteries, capacitors, LED lights and smart memory.

Call for Support of Producing Conductive Inks Based on Conductive Polymers

The lasers, photonics, advanced materials and construction technologies development headquarter has invited the activists of the field to send their proposals to the headquarters.

"Announcing readiness to participate from a project-related industrial unit will earn points as well as prioritize the received project."

In this call, legal characters (companies, universities and research centers) are invited to send their proposals on “producing conductive inks based on conductive polymers” to the website address of http://pam.isti.ir until December 21st, 2019.
