The second special issue of laser and photonics technology regarding the public introduction and promotion of sustainable development of laser technology was published with the support of lasers, photonic and micron structures technologies development headquarter.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the second special science and research issue of “lasers and photonics technology”, appendix of special November issue of “Knowledge-based”, is published with the joint cooperation of lasers, photonic and micron structures technologies development headquarter and knowledge-based economy, technology and science development headquarter.

This special issue is provided to introduce more activities and programs of the lasers, photonic and micron structures technologies development headquarter in line with the introduction and promotion of this technology.

Some sections of this issue include interview with Dr. Ezodin Mohajerani, head of lasers and plasma research institute of Shahid Beheshti University, a report on holding the annual festival of industrial lasers of Iran, introduction of Fotona company as the pioneer of medical lasers and design and production of particle size sensor by domestic specialists, domestication of femto seconds laser, infinite optical infrastructure project “ELI” and tens of readable contents on new areas of lasers and photonics.
