Export opportunities for Iranian products to Indonesia in the fields of information technology, polymer products, machinery and medical and electronic equipment are increasing with the support of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs.

Masoud Hafezi, the deputy director of international business development, pointed out the serious program of countries such as England to expand presence in East and Southeast Asian countries after exiting the European Union.

Through the formation of brokerage offices in Indonesia, the Vice-Presidency has attempted to increase areas of export of technological products to this country. Pointing out this issue, Hafezi marked: currently, two brokerage teams in Jakarta are responsible for leading and running export-oriented companies in Indonesia.

Hafezi continued: Iran"s advanced medical equipment in Indonesia is competitively priced and has the capability of co-producing this equipment in Indonesia. In addition, Iran also have a competitive advantage in Indonesia in the field of polymer products, Masterbatch and compound. The brokerage offices of the Vice-Presidency in these countries are fully prepared to provide marketing and export development services. 

Emphasizing the special plan of the Vice-Presidency for serious and sustainable presence in southeast of Asia, Hafezi asserted: two business meetings must be carried out in Vietnam and Malaysia attended by officials from both countries and knowledge-based companies in Iran to pave the way for further development of political and business relations.
