Nine thousand knowledge-based products are presented on Iran Lab Expo (Iran Sakht)
The deputy of technology innovation and commercialization development headquarter of the Vice-Presidency mentioned the showcasing of nine thousand knowledge-based models on the seventh Iran Lab Expo, stating: this year, 350 knowledge-based companies showcased their products at the exhibition.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the conference meeting of the seventh Iran Lab Expo was held on December 15th, 2019 in the presence of Masoud Boroumand, deputy of research and technology of ministry of science, research and technology, and Peyman Salehi, the deputy of technology innovation and commercialization development headquarter.
During the meeting, Peyman Salehi expressed the need cooperation of government organizations to facilitate businesses in the country, stating: we must attempt to increase synergy between government organizations. The same goal has been considered in the cooperation and synergy of the Vice-Presidency with the ministry of science, research and technology on holding the seventh round of Iran Lab Expo and the 20th exhibition of research and technology achievements and technomart of the country.
He continued: the opening ceremony of the two exhibitions will be held December 17th, 2019 at the conference hall No. 1 in the permanent international exhibition in Tehran.
The deputy of technology innovation and commercialization development headquarter continued: the Vice-Presidency pays a part of costs of purchasing of government research centers based on the classification of products. Facilities are provided to the center between 40-50% at the first level, 25% at the second level, and 10% at the third level.
Salehi pointed out leasing facilities provided to the private sector buyers of knowledge-based products, affirming: Iran national innovation fund provides 8-10% of leasing to buyers of these products. These facilities are provided from credit line of the fund with a value of 20 billion Tomans.
Salehi also marked: holding specialized pavilions to present Iranian knowledge-based products in other countries and assisting in paying the costs of international standards to knowledge-based companies are among these measures.
The president of the seventh Iran Lab Expo also affirmed: this year, 11 representatives from different countries traveled to Iran and visited the achievements presented at the exhibition.
Holding Need-centered Events
Mahdi Boroumandi described the programs of the week of research and technology, asserting: the programs will initiate in universities of province from this week and start in universities of Tehran in the following week and will continue to December 20th, 2019. Regarding the achievements of previous exhibitions, he mentioned: last year, 89 cooperation agreements were signed in the exhibition, 19 of which were definitive, eight were finalized and 62 were cancelled.
