According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, a joint meeting was held between the water, drought, erosion, and environment technologies development headquarter and committee members of special water technology field of festival of inventions of Damavand and Khavaran in the presence of the general director of the office for planning, innovation and executive transformation of municipality of Semnan, head of the elites foundation of the province, and a number of managers and authorities of executive organizations of Semnan province at the location of the mentioned headquarter.

Davoud Feyz, head of the elites foundation of the province, pointed out the hosting of the regional festival of inventions of Rouyesh Damavand and Khavaran, stating: these festivals are held to detect top inventions and pave their commercialization way. It is decided that by the recommendation of Dr. Asgari, deputy of the governor, and with regard to the issue of low water sources in Semnan and relatively similar conditions in other provinces of the country, the inventors and owners of ideas related to new water technologies will attend the festival.
Ebrahimi, secretary of the water, drought, erosion, and environment technologies development headquarter, regarded one of the challenges of the modern world and Iran to be the issue of low water reserves.

He also claimed: the elites foundation’s invention regarding the presenting of top ideas and technologies in the area of water, drought and environment, specially the regional festival of Rouyesh inventions by the presence of 10 provinces of the country, is admirable, and elites and experts’ capacities can be used to deal with the threats of low water sources and drought in the country.

In the end, Ebrahimi added: the headquarter is ready to support the top ideas, projects and innovations related to the area of water, drought, erosion, and environment.

It is notable that other authorities and managers in the meeting explained about the current water condition of the province and reported about the per capita production and consumption of water, technologies related to the production, distribution, transfer and consumption of water, and its optimal management.
