The vice president for science and technology affairs pointed out that a new movement has been started in Mashhad to make it an innovative and smart city, adding: this will benefit the youth and their abilities to run the city.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the president of the national elites foundation mentioned that knowledge-based companies are properly working in the city and are trying to evaluate and solve problems. In this regard, he asserted: however, the most important issue is creating an ecosystem in the country to use the assets.

Sattari pointed out the law to support knowledge-based companies and institutions, affirming: in this law, more than 140 services (from export to tax and customs exemptions) are provided to knowledge-based and technological companies. This law lays the foundation for more extensive activities of these companies.

Visiting the Innovation Factory Construction Process

Sorena Sattari visited the innovation factory of Mashhad during his one-day trip to Razavi Khorasan province. The factory has been formed to help recognizing the active individuals and activists in the field of new technologies to introduce capable startups and technologies to investors in east of the country. Some of the other missions of the innovation factory of Mashhad include establishing relationships with specialists in the development phases, interactions of startup founders, collecting urban resources in one center, creating an interactive space in the form of an entrepreneurship ecosystem, and approximating accelerators.

Interview with Technologies in Sajad Cultural Growth Center

The vice president for science and technology affairs also visited the cultural growth center of science and technology park of Razavi Khorasan province. Prioritizing visual arts, virtual media, sports and entertainment, and cultural heritage, the center encompasses 29 teams. Havosh Accelerator is based in this center and aims to strengthen the regional startup ecosystem through empowering the activists in the field of creative industries. Areas of activities of Havosh Accelerator include toys, entertainment, performing arts, digital business & crafts & tourism & cultural heritage.

After visiting the center, Sattari talked to the technologists of the growth center and issued order to solve their problems.
