The vice president for science and technology affairs stated: Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province has great local potentials, including tourism, agriculture and industries, which can lead to the elimination of intermediaries and formation of added value and multiple occupations by developing the knowledge-based and startup culture and being linked to young and educated human resources of the province.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, regarded the formation of a proper knowledge-based and startup business environment as a solution for maintaining the human resources of the province.

He continued: all space of the province can be turned into a science and technology park and a foundation for the development of knowledge-based and startup businesses through the promotion of knowledge-based economy and creating an entrepreneurial ecosystem. This can be supplied by innovation and creativity in universities.

The president of the national elites foundation pointed out that producing creative and innovative ideas in a proper environment is initiated from innovation mines, meaning universities. In this regard, he added: presence of 60 thousand students in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province has created an extraordinary potential for the formation of knowledge-based and startup companies. By the presence of the private sector, universities can use this capacity to create occupations and added value and develop the boarders of science and research.

He also asserted: the presence of more than 450 knowledge-based companies and startups around Sharif University of Industry shows that the creative ideas are emerged at the heart of universities. By providing a proper entrepreneurial space for knowledge-based companies and completing the chain of research to entrepreneurship, this development will be realized in provinces with academic potentials, including Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province.

The vice president for science and technology affairs considered the development of startup culture in the country as the result of establishing a suitable environment for activities of the creative youth.

According to Sattari, support of domestic youth with the mentioned properties is the most important necessity for maintaining the human resources and developing the province based on domestic capacities.

Emigration Phenomenon Is Not just Related to Iran

Sattari pointed out that emigration is a global phenomenon and is not just related to Iran. In this respect, he added: over the last 10 years, there has been a raise in the emigration rate of countries in the world. According to valid reports by the United Nations, Iran is not among the countries with highest rate of emigration. In fact, the level of emigration of Iran is below the global means in some index.

According to the president of the national elites foundation, there were 170 thousand students in the country in the beginning of the Islamic revolution of Iran and 100 thousand students were studying abroad, 56 thousand of whom were in the United States, creating the largest colony of foreign students in the mentioned country.

Sattari continued: today, we have more than four million and 500 thousand students in the country, which is 25 times more than the first years of revolution. Meanwhile, there are only 48 thousand Iranian students in foreign countries, which is less than half of the first years of the revolution.
