Launching a joint science and technology park between Iran and Uzbekistan in Samarkand
The vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy said: Iran-Uzbekistan science and technology park will be established in Samarkand city.
According to the report of the Communication and Information Center, Ruhollah Dehghani Firouzabadi stated to the journalists on the sidelines of the government delegation meeting: The joint science and technology park with Uzbekistan is being launched. Negotiations have been held with Uzbekistan and this park will probably be established next to Samarkand city university. Negotiations are underway to determine the exact location and commitments of the parties, and then calls will be made to attract companies.
He continued: Considering that the Minister of Science in Uzbekistan has changed, we hope that the conditions for attracting companies will be provided before June next year.
