A cooperation agreement as signed between the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and social security organization in line with the issuance of the account of contracts without applying the premium coefficient in the contracts of knowledge-based companies.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, in line with the implementation of macro policies of economy of resistance and naming of the year 2018 as the year of support of Iranian products by the supreme leader, support of knowledge-based companies and institutes and commercialization of innovation and inventions, improvement of business space and exchange of information between the relevant companies and facilitation in providing the account of the topic of the 38 Social Security Act for knowledge-based contracts of the mentioned companies, this agreement was signed between Seyed Taghi Nourbakhsh, CEO of the social security organization, and Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs.

According to this report, the agreement is signed to exchange information related to knowledge-based companies and institutes, make linear relations, focus on the send list and pay the insurance right of the staff of the mentioned companies to provide the account of the topic of Article 38 of the Social Security Act and the formation of a joint working group.

Agreement Condition

In implementing the law of social support and regulation for support of knowledge-based companies and institutes and commercialization of inventions and clarifying the presenting of social security organization services, in addition to agreeing on the formation of a joint working group, both parties stipulate that:

The Vice-Presidency will provide the information of the mentioned companies active in the knowledge-based area related to the agreement for the social security organization and provide a confirmation related to the area of activity of one of the mentioned contracts in order to issue the Article 38 of the Social Security Act.

In addition, with regard to the confirmation of the knowledge-based nature of the concluded contract by the Vice-Presidency, the social security organization will act on providing the article 38 of the social security law and relevant notes without applying the coefficient of insurance right toward the issuance of the Article 38 of the Social Security Act.

In addition, the social security organization will hold continuous educational courses and educational packages regarding the social security laws to facilitate the issues related to employers of knowledge-based companies and institutes. On the other hand, the necessary infrastructures will be provided to send information and introduction letters for each contract in minimum time by both parties.  

According to this report, the duration of this agreement is two years and can be modified and extended in case of the agreement of both parties.
