According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, use of biological mulches to stabilize dues caused by sand stones and hills in northern west of Khuzestan in Alah-akbar, Mish Dagh and Shoush hills at 400-450 hectares is one of the measures taken by the biotechnology development headquarter.

In addition, combined cultivation of “plant and tree backs” is another projects followed up by the biotechnology development headquarter, so that the knowledge and technology of stabilization of dunes in the country yield results with the help of biological mulch and resistant vegetation coverage.
