In order to improve purposive interactions and networking between scientific and special fields, a meeting was held to evaluate the methods to increase joint cooperation between researchers and experts of the neurocognitive sciences an neurology surgeons in Tehran.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mohammad Taghi Joghataei, senior advisor to the cognitive technologies and sciences development headquarter, stated: this meeting was held along with the congress of neurology surgeons, where the latest findings in the area of brain mapping and their application in neurology surgeries, especially the programs before operation, for cognitive disorders, seizure and brain tumors with the use of brain mapping techniques and superficial and in-depth stimulation were assessed.  

He continued: researchers in the field of neurocognitive sciences and neurology surgeons expressed their opinions about the processes to interpret scientific findings, implement brain mapping procedures and provide cognitive devices.

According to Joghataei, in addition to surgeons and physicians of this field, a number of professors of faculty of engineering of University of Tehran, researchers in the field of neuroscience and neurologists and a number of non-resident Iranian experts and researchers attended the event.
