In this meeting, the joint cooperation agreement between the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy and the "Atomic Energy Organization of Iran" were signed with goals such as supporting and benefiting from the capacity of knowledge-based and technological companies in the value chain of the nuclear industry in line with the development of specialized products and services and commercialization Research achievements, cooperation and participation in the development of the application of technologies related to the nuclear industry and the promotion of the functions of the innovation and technology system in the nuclear science and technology sector.

Other axes of this agreement include cooperation and participation in the development of the specialized nuclear technology market for knowledge-based and technological companies, and cooperation and participation in the promotion and development of nuclear safety and radiation protection.

The general axis of this agreement is based on "the definition of demand-oriented and problem-oriented large-scale knowledge-based projects to meet the needs of the nuclear industry, especially the cost-effective, bottleneck and strategic needs by using the capacity of knowledge-based, technological and creative companies through the creation of specialized knowledge-based consortia and Propulsion technology and projects are defined. The total value of defined projects during the 4-year period is set at the target amount of 20 thousand billion Rials, and the total value of participation in the development of technological infrastructure, participation in one of the non-governmental research and technology funds, and support for research and development is set at a total of 12,500 billion Rials.
