According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter has aimed to publish a book, in which the activities and measures taken by the headquarter to develop the areas of this science are presented. This 300-page book introduces the practical and fundamental cognitive research based on brain mapping, development of cognitive technologies for brain and brain communication, as well as cognitive modeling as special priorities for calls for research projects.

Moreover, another part of the book contains information about the research projects conducted or being carried out in this field with the support of the headquarter.

This book also covers the issues related to the support of international interactions and cooperation with other researchers since these activities are a path toward the development and enhancement of this field. development of international cooperation, creation of an interdisciplinary culture, familiarity with knowledge-boarder and applicable studies, establishment of joint laboratories, evaluation of opportunities of student and professor exchange and providing sabbaticals and designing the necessary infrastructures in planning of the headquarter are seriously taken into account and followed up.
