According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the third round of brain and cognition ambassadors is being held in the schools and research centers of the country with the support of the student committee of cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter and along with the “week of science promotion”. Sina Tavakoli, secretary of student committee of cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter, stated about this project: this project includes one to two-hour speeches by elite students in fields of medicine, technical engineering and psychology to introduce the cognitive science and technologies. In addition, installing wallpapers with the topic of new areas of cognitive sciences and holding student competitions are some other events held along with the mentioned project.

According to Tavakoli, university students, who are sent to schools as ambassadors of brain and cognition, have passed specialized courses on cognitive sciences, brain anatomy, nervous system diseases, speech and research methods in cognitive sciences. These ambassadors will present lectures about various areas of cognitive technologies and sciences.

Tavakoli also expressed: 100 schools and research centers of Tehran and some other provinces will host these ambassadors. In addition, the aim of this event is familiarizing the students with brain performance and solutions for improved performance and flexibility of the brain. Fortunately, schools have greatly welcomed this event as well and have demanded for its continuity.

According to this report, this project will be initiated in the middle of November in 22 areas of Tehran and some cities of the country and will last for 10 days with the cooperation of Sadra Neuroscience Association, student research centers, science committee of neuroscience association of Sadra and management of student research centers.
