According to the communication and information center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, the first national elites dialogue conference was held with the presence of Ruhollah Dehghani, the Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy and Sardar Ahmad Vahidi, the Minister of the Interior, a group of governors and heads of elite foundation across the country.

In this meeting, Dehghani pointed to the Supreme Leader's definition of elitism and the rise of elites from all strata of the country, saying: From the point of view of the National Elites Foundation in the new era, it is the same definition that the wise leader of the Islamic Revolution mentioned, and the elite is a talent that will be effective, with effort, special perseverance and divine help for his country and in the path of Islam and revolution and Iran. If a person has these criteria together, he will be among the elite of the society.

Pointing out that the National Elites Foundation is the connecting link between the ideas of the elite society and the governance arena, Dehghani emphasized: the foundation is not an administrative institution, but a club to create a place for the influence of the elites and a place for the elites to be present.

He added: "The children of this country love their land and they love this water and soil, and even the non-resident elites, their hearts are beating to do something for their country. It is enough to create an opportunity for them to influence."
