The 13^th national meeting of regional and specialized technomarts of the country was held in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, Mahdi Safarinia, head of Pardis Technology Park, Mohsen Salehina, CEO of small industries and industrial towns, and Milad Sadrkhanloo, head of the national technomart of Iran. During the meeting, 32 investment and technology selling contracts were introduced with a value of about 900 billion Tomans.

“Technomart” means a technology market; a place for exchange of technology. In fact, technomart is a technology dealing agency that plays the role of an information and legal intermediary with the responsibility of familiarizing the “demand” and “supply” parts in the area of technology and advanced products with each other.

Identifying and presenting technology investment opportunities, attracting investors, facilitating the knowledge marketing process, and other professional activities that lead to "technology market development" are among the fundamental roles of technomarts. In the world, technomarts are divided into three groups of information technology, technology transfer and integrative technomarts. Provincial branches have been established in 20 provinces of the country with the support of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs. The network held the 13^th national meeting of technomarts in Kheikh Bahaei Hall of the Vice-Presidency on November 28^th, 2019.

At first, a number of brokers and managers of technomarts shared their experiences and achievements with the audience in the presence of representatives from more than 20 provinces. The contract for “intraocular nanogels (HPMC) in pre-filled syringes with herbal ingredients”, signed with the efforts of the regional technomart of Kermanshah, is one of the eight contracts signed on the event.

During the meeting, Akbar Ghanbarpour, the deputy for innovation development of Pardis Technology Park, pointed out the efforts made in previous rounds, expressing: the 13^th round of the meeting is hosted by the national technomart in Tehran, and the next meetings will be hosted by other provinces.

This manager of the innovation region presented a report on the activities performed in previous years, adding: in 2012, we established the national technomart network in the country and a network of brokers was formed in 2013. Brokers have legal-personal characters.

Ghanbarpour added: recently, instructions and guidelines for brokers or technomart brokers have been created. We have also attempted to establish two specialized technomarts, including specialized gas and health technomarts, and more than 4000 companies have presented more than 13000 products on the website of the national technomart (www.techmart.ir).

Milad Sadrkhanloo, head of the national technomart of Iran, emphasized the necessity of synergy and more interaction between all components of the national technomart network, asserting: the main capital of the national technomart of Iran is brokers. Fortunately, there has been a positive and productive interaction between all provincial market offices and brokers so far. Of course, it cannot be overlooked that in some offices, this interaction was not at the desired level to be addressed.

Mohsen Salehinia pointed out the capacities and activities performed in the organization, expressing: there are good facilities and infrastructure in 500 industrial towns and 320 industrial regions that can be used by provincial technomart offices around the country.

Safarinia pointed out the increasing need of large industrial companies to knowledge-based products, affirming: independent islands of technology in the country must become a coherent and coherent network. Until a few years ago, there were no technology brokers or brokers at all, and fortunately today, we are seeing an increasing and increasing number of these active elements within the network.
