Currently, the knowledge-based products meet many needs of people in life. However, entrance of these products into the market requires prerequisites such as patent registration and protecting intellectual properties. A creativity and innovation can be the basis for the production of a product.

In this regard, the patent association of the Vice-Presidency supports patent registration of Iranian researchers at its valid branches outside the country. In this regard, it supports 90% of the process of international patent registration.

Of course, the association is not just focusing on this activity, and is working with 56 offices in science and research centers to grow and promote the patent culture in order to see activities grow in this area.

An important point in the current year was the growth of requests for patent registration. To date, 1653 researchers have demanded support for patent registration, 273 of whom were approved and 73 patents were granted in foreign branches.
