In geomatics, we deal with a wide range of engineering sciences. The sciences are each used to provide a picture of the world around us. Surveying, remote sensing, and locating are among the technologies that are to be presented to the audience with higher standards by the country"s founders.

Iran national space and advanced transportation has formed a Geomatics Technology Development Group to rationalize the scientific activities of the field. Accordingly, it will pursue "the adoption of a comprehensive geomatics law in the Islamic Consultative Assembly" this year. Through the creation of promotional content in the field of geomatics (short documentaries and animations) and holding and supporting technological events, the group aims to facilitate the applicable technologies in the society. Given the importance of the development of this science in the country, active knowledge-based companies of the field will be supported.

According to Ebrahimian Ghajari, the head of the Geomatics Technology Development Group, standardization of knowledge-based products in the field of geomatics is one of the priorities that will be pursued this year.

He also marked that the development of international interactions in the geomatics field has been put on the agenda, and this goal will be followed up and realized in 2020.
