Signing a memorandum of cooperation; The penetration of knowledge-based companies is accelerating in the oil and gas industry
The Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Oil and the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology was signed with the aim of developing a comprehensive plan for the development of knowledge base in the oil, gas, refining and petrochemical industries.
The memorandum of cooperation was signed in the presence of Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology, and Javad Oji, Minister of Petroleum, to pave the way for the penetration of technology and innovation in various sectors of the oil, gas and petrochemical industry.
According to this memorandum, the policy council will be formed with the aim of formulating a comprehensive strategy for the development of knowledge base in the oil, gas, refining and petrochemical industries and monitoring the achievement of goals.
Develop strategies and policies
To plan and implement the subject of this memorandum, seven specialized working groups will be formed with titles including "Knowledge-Based Development Working Group in the Upstream Oil and Gas Field", "Knowledge-Based Development Working Group in Refining and Petro-Refining", "Knowledge-Based Development Working Group in Petrochemical", "Knowledge Development Working Group" In the field of downstream gas "," Knowledge Development Working Group in the field of oil industry equipment localization "," Knowledge Development Working Group in the field of energy consumption optimization "and" Knowledge Development Working Group in the field of oil technology ecosystem development ". The main companies will be subsidiaries of the Ministry of Oil and the directors for the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology.
The necessary coordination has been done by the mentioned specialized working groups on the issues that require spending money and financial burden, and the policy council approves it and the required resources are provided using the capacities of the parties.
Simultaneously with the implementation of this memorandum in the oil industry, by the order of the Minister of Oil, a working group was formed for the development of knowledge base in the upstream oil and gas field.
It was decided that the representatives of the Ministry of Petroleum and the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology in specialized working groups draft the final version of the bylaws to implement the memorandum and the plans and achieve the objectives of the MoU.
