The topic of education in the field of artificial intelligence and patent registration is an important issue for researchers, inventors and technology-developing knowledge-based companies. In this regard, the patent office of the Vice-Presidency has implemented educational programs to make advancement in the field.

Over the next three months, nine events will be held at the patent office. However, they will be held online due to the outbreak of coronavirus and only one event will be held in-person, which is entitled “the art of patent study” and focuses on the scientific methods to more efficiently study a patent.

“Introduction to intellectual property”, “patent; a tool for protecting innovative technologies”, “introducing the patent office and its services”, “patent search”, “how to register a patent application on the center"s portal”, and “familiarity with the patent cooperation agreement and its benefits” are the titles of some of the educational courses that will be held in the form of webinars.

The patent office will also hold a free webinar named “familiarization with intellectual property” on April 26^th, 2020 on the occasion of the global day of intellectual properties.

The inventors, entrepreneurs, startups and creative people are the audience of this event, by participating in it, they learn about the importance of intellectual property, ways to protect intellectual property, definitions of intellectual property and its examples.

Given that intellectual property is one of the most important infrastructures in the development of technology, lack of knowledge in this field is a serious threat and knowing about it is a great opportunity.

The office is also on track to create a great opportunity for researchers, inventors and knowledge-based companies.
