According to the Communication and Information Center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge Economy, in the meeting of Dr. Dehghani, the Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge Economy, with Edmundo Novillo Aguilar, Minister of Defense of Bolivia, the development of scientific, technological and knowledge economy cooperation was emphasized between the two countries.

The Minister of Defense in Bolivia, while expressing his surprise at Iran's scientific and technological advances in the two fields of medicine and nano, announced his country's interest in developing scientific cooperation in various fields of technology with Iran.

He added: I appreciate Iran's previous technological assistance in the nano field.

Further, Dr. Dehghani stated that scientific and technological cooperation with Iran is reliable and said: two countries can cooperate based on common beliefs.

He added: The development of cooperation in the field of technology and knowledge-based economy with Latin America is one of the programs of the vice presidency of science, technology and knowledge-based economy.

Dehghani proposed the development of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of technology, business and knowledge-based economy and said: a joint committee for scientific, technological and knowledge-based economy cooperation between Iran and Bolivia should be formed to develop cooperation and implement mutual agreements.

The vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy further emphasized: We presented our readiness to expand the cooperation between the two countries in various scientific and specialized fields in the educational, technological and knowledge-based economy sectors to the officials of Bolivia, and we were welcomed by them.
