The vice president for science and technology affairs expressed the activity of startups in various scientific fields, such as nanotechnology and biotechnology, emphasizing: currently, one thousand ideas have been introduced so that accelerators could provide new services and carry out new works on the ideas.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, expressed on the visit of startups and knowledge-based companies in the 25^th Elecomp exhibition, stating: since five years ago, startups have been added to Elecomp exhibition, and the growth and development of these companies and startups are clearly observed in this exhibition. These companies and startups have been greatly welcomed by the public.

He added: startups are not just active in the ICT field and they are active in various scientific fields, such as nanotechnology and biotechnology. For instance, we visited one of the largest startups in the biotechnology field and we were amazed by the development model and great activities of this company.

Sattari also asserted: the number of accelerators is quickly increasing in various fields, and there has been a considerable increase in the number of accelerators and startups. The cooperation between the government, the authorities and the private sector is the most important principle for the development of this ecosystem.

The president of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter continued: the growth of this exhibition, compared to the last year, is considerable, and the diversity of ideas is one of the most important points distinguishing this year’s exhibition from former rounds. There is a wide range of ideas in the exhibition, and we have witnessed the formation of several thousand new ideas in this field.  

Pointing out the role and position of the municipality in the formation of a smart platform for urban management with the help of the youth, Sattari declared: the municipality must come to the conclusion that providing urban services to the public is not its duty, and the work must be assigned to the youth by designing a smart platform.

According to the president of the national elites foundation, the public has excessively welcomed the apps designed by the youth, which shows that the services provided by the government sector are expensive and inaccessible, and startups can provide these services at lower prices and with a faster pace.
