The vice president for science and technology affairs stated: the country"s pharmaceutical system is evolving and introducing new innovations, which reflects the serious dynamics of this area as a result of private sector investment.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the 25th Razi Medical Sciences Research Center was held at Iran University of Medical Sciences in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs.
During the event, Sattari expressed his condolences for the passing of the passengers of the Ukrainian airplane, expressing: I understand the pain of families of the deceased since I lost my father in an air incidence. However, the difference between human beings is revealed when they stand up after falling and build the future for the children of this land.
Sattari continued: we are now witnessing something worthwhile at the Ministry of Health. Production of medicines and medical equipment domestically with the activities of this ministry is a valuable step that has led to the development of the country"s health knowledge.
More than 20 Biotech Drugs Are Produced in the Country
According to the vice president for science and technology affairs, the knowledge-based companies working in this area has had unique abilities. In this regard, he continued: the best biotech companies in the region belong to Iran and we produce more than 20 biotech drugs.
Pointing out that the food and drug administration is one of the most progressive organizations in the country, Sattari expressed: I wish there was such an organization in other ministries as well. A place to test and evaluate products made in the field, and eventually the product comes to market. Therefore, the institution that is responsible for ensuring the health of the country takes such a look, and even gives the young force the advice to reach the market, and these issues have led to the development of technologies in this field.
The president of the biotechnology development headquarter pointed out the formation of oil culture and thinking in the country, adding: this culture has penetrated the intellectual infrastructures of the people and society, moving them toward the purchase of foreign products. In other words, our administrative and intellectual structures support the import system.
The vice president for science and technology affairs also marked: while the best Biotech products and medical equipment are available in the country, there is a need for intellectual restructuring, and we all must fight against this system of thought.
Sattari mentioned that the considerable investment of the private sector has led to the booming of activities in health field, adding: in the area of research in the field of medicine and medical equipment, we are witnessing something that is commendable and with the involvement of the private sector, companies are investing hundreds of billions of dollars in their sales lines annually. These companies are looking for and investing in talented and creative young people.
The president of the national elites foundation marked: the pharmaceutical system of the country is growing and introducing new innovations, which shows the serious dynamism of the field as a result of the investment of the private sector. In fact, this process is investment on the idea and innovation of the youth, and the more we support them, the more we can welcome new methods and recruit the youth in the country.
At the end of the ceremony, the winners of the event received awards from Sorena Sattari and Saeed Namaki, the ministry of health.
