The Vice President of Science and Technology and the Syrian Minister of Health met to discuss the transfer of Iranian medical technology to Syria.

Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology in the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Hassan Al-Fabash, Minister of Health of Syria, met.

Sattari in this meeting, pointing out that the technology and innovation ecosystem in Iran has experienced a significant expansion during these years with the activities of its actors and actors, said: actors such as knowledge-based and creative companies that now bring us to a point We have said that we have a lot to say in many areas such as medicine, medical equipment and biotechnology.

Sattari also referred to the technological needs met during the Corona outbreak, saying: "Ventilators and other equipment needed at this time, were quickly produced by the same ecosystem in Iran, some of which were exported to Syria, which had European standards”.

The Vice President of Science and Technology continued: "Iran is ready to cooperate with Syria in areas such as the supply of medicine and medical equipment and the provision of necessary training." For example, in Iran, simulations in accordance with standards in medicine have been designed and produced, which have many applications in this field. We are ready to provide these devices to Syria as well.

 In another part of his speech, the head of the National Eliste Foundation said: "It was two weeks ago that we started exporting Factor 7 to Syria." Also, according to the capabilities that exist in the ecology of technology and medical innovation, we can produce any advanced drug domestically. Also in the field of food, great technological events have occurred in our country with which we can diagnose the health of food.

Continuing the meeting, Syrian Minister of Health Hassan Al-Fabash also said: "If it becomes possible for some Syrian doctors to travel to Iran for short courses, it will be a good thing." Because our country is under siege and the facilities that are imported from foreign countries are very small.

Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has traveled to Syria with 40 knowledge-based and creative companies. In the first part of the trip, Sattari met with Syrian Minister of Research and Higher Education Bassam Ibrahim. The second business meeting of Iranian knowledge-based companies and Syrian technology companies was also held during this trip. Sattari also met with Syrian Minister of Agriculture and Land Reform Mohammad Hassan Qatna and Russian Minister of Industry Ziad Sabbagh.
