The Vice President for Science and Technology met the President of the Afghan Academy of Sciences; Sattari: We are ready to supply laboratory equipment to Afghan universities
During the meeting between the Vice President of Science and Technology and the President of the Afghan Academy of Sciences, emphasis was placed on the development of relations and technological exchanges between the two countries.
Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology, and Abdul Zahir Shakib, President of the Afghan Academy of Sciences, met to discuss the development of bilateral relations between the two countries and the formation of cooperation for the two countries' projects to spread the Persian language in the world.
Referring to the position of Persian language in Internet search, the Vice President of Science and Technology said: Persian is the ninth language of the Internet, which is a big deal despite the low population index. Today, Aparat is a startup in Persian language, which has a rank below 100 among virtual pages.
The head of the National Elites Foundation, referring to the special attention of the technology and innovation ecosystem to women entrepreneurs, said: "We have a special program in the country to support women entrepreneurs and elites." Because the share of our women in technological fields is high and more than 40% of the country's students are this group. Women are the next generation of entrepreneurs in the country.
The Vice President for Science and Technology believes that the implementation of joint technology projects between the two countries is necessary because it will help develop bilateral relations and strengthen bilateral cooperation. Strengthening academic relations between the two countries has a great impact on the development of relations between the two countries.
Referring to Iran's ability to supply laboratory equipment to Afghan universities, Sattari said: "This capability exists in Iran and a large part of the laboratory equipment used in Iranian universities is domestically made." All these equipments are available in Afghanistan with special conditions and reasonable prices.
Abdul Zahir Shakib, President of the Academy of Sciences, gave a brief explanation of the activities of the Academy, saying: "The Academy of Sciences of Afghanistan operates in three departments: Islamic Sciences, Natural Sciences and Humanities." In this center, we try to revive the international connection between Afghanistan and the scientific centers of the region and the world.
He also stated: Iran and Afghanistan are two friendly and neighboring countries with common cultural, religious, cultural and linguistic commonalities that we should use these resources to develop relations between the two countries.
