Khayam Innovation Ecosystem is opened
During his travel to Razavi Khorasan Province, the vice president for science and technology affairs opened Khayam Innovation Ecosystem established with the goal of turning innovative ideas into knowledge-based businesses and cooperation with industry.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Khayam Innovation Ecosystem was opened in Mashhad in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, to develop the ecosystem for new businesses and commercialization of creative ideas in Razavi Khorasan Province. Khayam Innovation Ecosystem is the result of a 10-year effort for developing of technologies and turning ideas into business with the role-playing of the private sector.
This ecosystem is based on a variety of technologies, including the formulation of natural perfumes, bio-pesticides and pesticides, the fight against drugs and other areas of biology and stem cells. More than 18 people of economic activists and industry owners have gathered together in the financial committee of the ecosystem to financially support the center.
It is anticipated that 250 knowledge-based companies will be formed in the vision of the innovation ecosystem using their hardware and software capacity to help commercialize ideas and cooperate with the industry. Over the next five years, a 12-storey innovation tower will be created in Razavi Khorasan Province, and in the next 10 years, 10 technology towers will create 10,000 knowledge-based jobs, with an average of 40 teams each year and the commercial market will be boomed.
In addition, 20 teams are prepared to enter the commercial market, mostly providing shrine perfume, pesticides, and electronics kits.
According to the agreements, some of the technological needs of different industries will be localized with the innovation of knowledge-based companies and the country’s need for import of these products will decrease.
After the ceremony, the vice president for science and technology affairs will attend the meeting of the working group for facilitation and elimination of barriers to production in Razavi Khorasan Province with the topic of knowledge-based economy.
