Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, expressed: currently, several knowledge-based companies are working to construct and supply the essentials for fight against corona. Today, all sectors of the country, such as the innovation ecosystem, have become determined to fight the disease.

According to Sattari, a number of internal knowledge-based companies provide the country with the need for nano-fibers and filters. These companies play an important role in supplying medical supplies, and all have been mobilized to help the country combat corona disease.

Readiness of the Laboratory Network to Cooperate with Hospitals

Reza Asadifar, the manager of the strategic technologies development headquarter, mentioned that the network is one of the custodians for organizing the lab services in the country, asserting: we are prepared to cooperate with all hospitals and use the lab ability of the country to accelerate the pace of diagnostic processes.

According to Asadifar, Iranian knowledge-based company can meet the internal needs of the country by entering fields such as producing diagnostic kits.

Coronavirus Detection by Iranian Kits

Mostafa Ghanei, the secretary of the biotechnology development headquarter, pointed out the joint cooperation of the biotechnology headquarter and general office of food and drug laboratory of the ministry of health to produce coronavirus detection kits, marking: based on this joint collaboration, we are going to produce diagnostic kits domestically, using the capabilities of knowledge-based companies.
