Support of Graduates of Top Universities of the Country Is Accelerated
Iran national science foundation signed a memorandum of understanding with Sharif and Amir Kabir Universities for better identification and support of graduates of top universities. Meanwhile, the foundation previously signed more than 150 agreements with universities across the country.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Iran national science foundation has recently signed memorandums of understanding to implement post-doctoral research projects, especially to support graduates.
A meeting was held in Sharif University of Technology, followed by signing two agreements in line with cooperation in the implementation of 10 post-doctoral research projects, support of 30 research projects and 30 post-doctoral projects. The agreement was signed between Iman Eftekhari, the head of Iran national science foundation, and Mahmoud Fotouhi, the head of Sharif University of Technology.
Another agreement was signed between the Iman Eftekhari, the head of Iran national science foundation, and Seyed Ahmad Motamedi, the head of Amir Kabir University, in line with cooperation in the implementation of 10 post-doctoral research projects.
Regarding the agreements signed with Amir Kabir University, Eftekhari stated: previous agreements led to short-term support of post-doctoral projects, which can be extended to two years in the new package. In addition, the validation of the project is improved. Of course, in this regard, we are trying to offer a more attractive package to the universities.
Eftekhari also affirmed: one of the plans of the foundation is expanding relations with universities in line with cooperation in projects such as supporting research, post-doctoral, and special post-doctoral projects and PhD dissertations, as well as supporting scientific events and conferences, research seats, grants and development of innovation centers.
