A cooperation agreement is signed by the Vice-Presidency to use the domestic and international capacities and potentials to recognize, select, grow and develop startups in the area of creative industries.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, in order to realize the macro policies of Iran in the field of science and technology and realize the goals of economy of resistance through expanding knowledge-based activities and developing the ecosystem for creative industries, an agreement was signed between the soft and identity-making technologies development headquarter and Avasazan Ghoghnous Institute.

This agreement is signed to use the capacities of the music industry in the development of the foundations for knowledge-based entrepreneurship and synergy and share of resources, as well as the establishment of accelerators and innovation centers.

In this agreement, the Vice-Presidency is committed to spiritually and financially support the establishment of accelerators and innovation centers. In addition, the necessary measures will be taken by the headquarter to accelerate the issuance of the key licenses for the establishment of centers.

Helping the supply of research sources required for the activities of the center with the cooperation of affiliated and subsidiary units, introducing active startups in the field of creative industries to the center, facilitating the conditions and accelerating the pace of issuance of ethical confirmations and licenses required for startups introduced by the center, and supporting the commercialization of successful projects and introducing them to exploiters and applicants, especially the executive organizations, are among other responsibilities of the Vice-Presidency.

Other duties of the Vice-Presidency include supporting the export and market creation for commercialized products by startups covered by the center and informing and introducing the activities of accelerators and innovation centers to activists in the knowledge-based field in line with the programs of creative companies.

Establishing and guiding accelerators and innovation centers in the field of creative industries with an emphasis on music industry based on the latest global standards and legal, cultural, and social frameworks approved by the country, preparing progress reports of the stages of establishment and presenting it to the Vice-Presidency every three months and providing service packages to startups based on domestic and foreign successful experiences are the responsibilities of Avasazan Ghoghnous Institute.

In order to implement the agreement, a committee will be formed of the representatives of both parties. This committee is responsible for defining executive programs, determining the credit required for the project, and monitoring its proper implementation.

The duration of the agreement is three years, starting from June 22^nd, 2019.
