Secretary of biotechnology development headquarter emphasized that the headquarter seeks to reduce the exit of currency from the country, stating: one of the priorities of the headquarter is decreasing the exit of currency from the country by producing high-quality bio-products.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mostafa Ghanei, secretary of biotechnology development headquarter, expressed about the necessity of decreasing the exit of currency from the country, marking: the Vice-Presidency seeks to produce high-quality Iranian products with domestic technologies and the contribution of technology headquarter. If achieved, this goal can significantly reduce the exit of currency from the country.

He added: one of the most important fields in this regard is producing the medications required by our patients. In this field, the biotechnology development headquarter has dedicated extensive efforts and we have been able to prevent a large number of currency from the country.

According to Ghanei, if we can produce raw materials in the domestic market, we can prevent the exit of $800 million, which can be considered as a great achievement.

He also asserted: the dependency of Iran on bio-products will decrease with the presence of knowledge-based companies, products of which will play a considerable role in the formation of value added in the country.
