A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and plant protection organization to develop the market for plant protection knowledge-based products.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, an agreement was signed between the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and plant protection organization. This agreement was signed by Peyman Salehi, deputy of technology innovation and commercialization development headquarter, and Alireza Dargahi, head of plant protection organization to accelerate the pace of development of the market and commercialization of technological and knowledge-based products in the area of plant protection.
By signing this Memorandum, participation and coordination will be pursued in defining, approving, managing and leading technological and priority projects aimed at the production of knowledge-based and technological goods in the field of agriculture and crop damage management.
In addition, market development and commercialization of high-quality technology and knowledge-based products by allocating agricultural market share to knowledge-based and technological goods are other topics of this cooperation.
In addition, marketing support for crop products and services and the management of crop and vegetable crop damage factors within and outside the country, as well as support for the creation and development of knowledge-based companies in the field should be pointed out.
During the meeting, Salehi mentioned the importance of the law to support knowledge-based companies in the country, affirming: supporting knowledge-based companies is the path for enhancing domestic production. The Vice-Presidency has the mission of implementing the law for support of knowledge-based companies. According to this law, more than 110 services are provided to companies at this center.
In addition, Alireza Dargahi explained about the responsibilities of the organization and considered the signing of this agreement the start of support of knowledge-based companies to be active in the field by domestic production.
