Familiarization with the market is important to develop new businesses. This necessity is more felt in the field of convergent technologies, which is an interdisciplinary area. In this regard, the convergent technologies center has announced a call entitled “new companies in the field of convergent technologies”.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the convergent technologies strategic center announced the fourth call for new companies in the field of convergent technologies. Applicants can register for the event until April 20^th, 2020. The call is an opportunity for new businesses to get on the right track for product development and familiarization with the market.

However, to achieve this goal, pre-acceleration courses are held for select teams where they are trained by leading team instructors. Different teams attended the past three rounds of the call, which were able to develop their product and interact with investors.

 Providing a framework for commercializing the research achievements of researchers and the country"s scientific community in the field of converging technologies, identifying and empowering technology groups and familiarizing them with the process of product development and the world of business and commercialization, introducing business opportunities based on the current needs of the country and business development centers to the community of researchers and technologists and integrating technology, investors and business developers to commercialize innovative products are among the goals of publishing this call.

After announcing the call, the center has aimed to recognize active startups of the field to develop their prototype and lay the foundation for their development and reaching the market.
