The innovation and technology ecosystem has come to the field to create technological evolutions in the country’s industries. This time, the knowledge-based capacity of the country will be used to digitize rail transportations of the country. This is a hidden capacity that can solve problems in the economy of resistance of the country.

Digitizing an industry means strengthening the communication and information infrastructure on the Internet. The rail transportation industry has no other choice but to pass the path of knowledge-based. Therefore, the rail committee of the national space and advanced transportation administration has come to knowledge-based companies to digitize the industry.

Accordingly, the committee has aimed to recognize the most important domestic companies in the area of rail transportation digitization, including areas of passenger service, infrastructure management and mobile equipment, freight services, production and signaling.

In this area, however, Iran is still in the beginning of the path and has a long way to reach its goals. But to speed up this observation, monitoring and studying successful international examples may be effective and useful for passengers, infrastructure management and mobile equipment, freight services, production and signaling. This tasks is followed up by the national space and advanced transportation administration, according to which the protocol of successful global companies are assessed in this area.

The general protocol of the country"s digital rail transport has been presented to some knowledge-based and railway companies after final review, so that knowledge-based companies can prepare their plans and submit them to the headquarters based on the existing requirements.
