IoT Boot Camp Will Be Held in Provinces
IoT Boot Camp Will Be Held in Provinces
As one of the pillars for the realization of digital evolution, the Internet of Things (IoT) faces a shortage of workforce in various fields. However, this issue can be eliminated by using the players of the field in holding technological events. This important issue has encouraged the automation and digital technologies development headquarter to participate in holding the first provincial IoT boot camp in the country.
In general, the IoT is an applicable concept but is unknown to digital services users. Using the term “IoT” along with another unfamiliar term (boot camp) creates a convenient combination for the audiences of the field. The technological event of provincial IoT boot camp is one of the events held by the Vice-Presidency during February 22nd-28th, 2020 in Golestan Province.
Therefore, the provincial IoT boot camp will be held by the efforts of the directorate general of information and communication technology of Golestan province and the IoT research center and in cooperation with the information and communication technology park, science and technology park of Golestan province, and the automation and digital technologies development headquarter.
In this boot camp, after training and acquiring skills, the participants will be assigned to do applied projects as a team and become familiar with the concepts and structure of the IoT ecosystem. In addition, the boot camp will help enthusiasts of the field enter the business market. Interactive and effective learning and implementation, utilization of expert teachers and technical educators in each department, using training hardware packages for scenario implementation, building an IoT based product (MVP) during boot camp, over six hours of skill-based training along with performing smart scenarios, turning automation ideas based on IoT as a prototype and preparing a business model are among the features of the course.
