Investors from 11 countries came to Iran

The second technology investment meeting was held in the presence of senior investors of more than 11 countries of the world. Performed in the presence of the D8-group countries, technological projects were assessed in the presence of investors at the gathering.

The D8 countries include Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Egypt and Nigeria.

The D8-group works in line with the increase of technological exchange among eight Islamic countries and has been established with the support of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs. In addition, its permanent secretariat was established in Iran.

The second Technology Investment Summit is one of the events held in line with the goals of the Technology Exchange Network.

The main audience of the event are VCs, investment angels and investment funds. Investors in the event will work together during meetings and work together on a joint venture. Startups and tech entrepreneurs will also attend the event and B2B meetings.

Mahdi Safarinia, the secretary of the technology exchange network on the second D8 technology investment meeting stated: there is huge competition in the field of human resources and all D8 members deal with the loss and emigration of human resources to advanced countries. However, the west has never had empathy for Islamic countries and we must be self-reliance in this area.

He added: experiences will be shared at similar meetings, and we will not grow rapidly if we do not seek to share investment opportunities and share capabilities.

He also mentioned: we have attempted to hold events to increase information opportunities and international programs to gather investors. Currently, there is great cooperation between D8 member countries and European countries. To solve this problem, D8 member government must put political measures such as eliminating visas and establishing funds on their agenda.
