According a trilateral agreement signed among the secretariat of the supreme council of industrial and special economic free trade zones, the soft and identity-making technologies development headquarter, and Imam Khomeini International Airport Free Zone, there has been an emphasis on the development of cooperation to expand the area of creative companies and accelerators.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, turning the free zone of Imam Khomeini International Airport into a development base for cultural and creative industries was one of the main topics of the agreement.

Cooperation in facilitating the rules of activity of accelerators and creative companies in the free zone of Imam Khomeini Airport and cooperation in the development of accelerators specialized in cultural and creative industries were also among the issues that the three parties agreed to work to achieve.

In addition, the three units signing the agreement committed to dedicating efforts to the development of the market of products and services produced in the Free Zone of Imam Khomeini Airport.

Financial support and participation in the development of specialized export accelerators and groups active in the cultural and creative industries and the granting of licenses for accelerators required by the Imam Khomeini Airport Free Zone are among the other issues included in this memorandum.

According to the agreement, Imam Khomeini Airport Free Zone will try to provide the necessary facilities to provide the infrastructure and allocate the appropriate space for the establishment of all active elements in the ecosystem of cultural and creative industries.
