Creative companies will receive “subsidies” up to 60 million Tomans for paying bank facilities

The Vice-Presidency has aimed to provide plans and roadmaps for the smallest problems of creative and knowledge-based companies. Given the complaints of some activists of knowledge-based field about high interest rates of banking facilities, the Vice-Presidency has conducted a project that gives subsidies to companies in this area.

In fact, the benefit subsidy is granted for the facility with the goal exporting products and improving knowledge-based services. This subsidy is provided by Iran national science foundation and is given to facilities provided with the title of export and transfer of technology.

The benefit subsidy is an amount (up to 60 million Tomans) that the company will be subject to if it receives export facilities or technology transfer from banks, funds and financial institutions and meets the conditions set out in the facility subsidy.

The Vice-Presidency is one of the limited units that allocates subsidy for bank facilities’ interest. Many manufacturers often complain about the high interest rates on banking facilities and late-term offenses. Certain fluctuations in the sales and return of exported currency or any other problem may challenge an enterprise"s cash flow. This causes delays in the payment of installments received.

The Vice-Presidency has designed a program, according to which knowledge-based and creative companies can benefit from subsidy with a value of up to 60 million Tomans. Under the plan, top export companies that export more than $1 million annually will receive more subsidies. According to the law, thee subsidies are provided to facilities whose profits are equal to or more than 0.5 percent higher than those approved by the Monetary and Credit Council.
