A challenge for game developers; cognitive game development is mixed with innovation and creativity.
Challenge of cognitive asset and game development will be held by the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter so that game developers would improve the development of cognitive games through presenting ideas and innovations. These games can be used in areas such as autism, hyperactivity, aging, rehabilitation, memory and attention exercises, puzzles and improvement of children’s skills.
The challenge will be held by COGNOTECH, an accelerator working in the field of cognitive sciences and technologies, to provide services to the teams participating in the event. The teaching courses have been initiated for teams since the start of the event in March.
Teams will improve their ideas in the pre-acceleration course, which will continue to the beginning of June, followed by the assessment of the projects until the end of June. The teams will also participate in 12 educational workshops in three fields of cognitive science, game development and business. In addition, 100 hours of mentoring in these three areas is another step for teams to improve their initial plan.
Therefore, the capable, creative and innovative teams in the field will be identified and supported. The challenge is attended by academic centers and game design companies from 10 provinces of the country, presenting about fifty projects for evaluation and review. In total, 32 teams are in the pre-acceleration period and five teams will be selected as the winners of the event. The teams present in the pre-acceleration period are from provinces such as Kermanshah, Razavi Khorasan, Semnan, Isfahan, Tabriz, Qazvin, Gilan and Tehran.
Digital games, physical and paper games, and joint projects in both digital and physical games are among the ideas submitted. They are also effective in cognitive sciences such as autism, hyperactivity, aging, rehabilitation, attention and concentration exercises, puzzle games, and improving children"s skills. Introducing the game as a tool for entrepreneurship is considered in this challenge. The challenge is being held by COGNOTECH accelerator with the cooperation of the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter and Iran Computer Games Foundation.
The winners of the challenge will receive a cash prize of 330 million Tomans and sales subsidy.
